As Telstra Accredited locators, we employ radio detection equipment to accurately trace and locate telecommunications without causing any disruption to communication lines.
- Water and Gas Services: We employ standard Radio Detection techniques to locate metallic water and fire services. A transmitter sends a radio wave signal, allowing our receiver to locate the underground pipe accurately.
- Sewer and Storm Water Pipes:
We use a traceable fibreglass rod or sonde to map sewer and stormwater pipes accurately. This technology is inserted into these pipes to trace their length and depth precisely.
- Non-Metallic Gas and Water (PVC):
We employ vacuum excavation for non-metallic services such as PVC water and gas pipes (Non-Destructive Digging). This advanced method is effective in determining the location and depth of these services, whereas standard radio detection techniques may need to be more effective.
If a service cannot be traced via standard techniques, we also offer Non-Destructive Digging methods to determine the service depth and alignment accurately.
