For the past two years, Farren Land Surveys has proudly supported Vaughan Constructions in the development of Brighton Grammar School’s state-of-the-art Duigan Centre: Centre for Science, Creativity and Entrepreneurship.
Our role involved providing construction surveying services—a critical step in ensuring the project’s foundation and structural elements were executed with precision.
Construction surveying is the process of mapping and measuring land to guide every stage of a building project. It involves marking key reference points, boundaries, and elevations to ensure the design is accurately translated from plans to reality. This precision is essential for large-scale developments like the Centre, which spans 11,930m² and incorporates multiple levels and complex features.
The Centre includes cutting-edge labs for science and technology, spaces for art and creativity, and collaboration areas to inspire innovation. With facilities like a rooftop tennis club and a café, it blends education and community in a truly unique way.
